Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Six months to two years of manufacturing/plant experience.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures and heavy environment.
• Must be clean shaven and able to wear PPE including a respirator.
• Must be able to use hand tools and learn machine controls.

Responsibilities

• Applies the appropriate paste to grids, creating plates that help the battery to hold its charge.
• Loads raw materials into machines.
• Manually moves materials to and from machines.
• Assists operator in monitoring pasting machine function.
• Perform visual inspections for quality and quantity; enters data into data collector.
• Operates forklift to move materials and completes documentation.
• Must be committed to safety excellence and wear all required PPE.
• Lift 50 - 80 lbs. and stand for long periods.
