POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing beverages for guests and servers.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Prepare cocktails for cocktail servers and guests of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City using prescribed recipes.
- Maintain company funds and equipment in an orderly manner.
- Interact with guests in a manner which makes them feel comfortable and welcome.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in the delegation of duties to bar porters.
- Monitor proper par levels of all supplies at assigned bars.
- Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and is accountable for all overages and shortages.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must have the ability to:
- Work in environments subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, depending on customer volume.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members at all levels.
- Observe and direct actions of bar porters and inspect areas of responsibility.
- Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
- Review and understand all necessary documentation.
- Use equipment associated with the position, including cash registers and bar equipment.
- Move effectively and efficiently around the bar area.
- Retrieve supplies and maintain a clean working area.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years old. Knowledge of and ability to mix drinks.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to other duties, every team member must:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City.
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble, loiter in gambling areas, drink alcohol, or purchase tobacco.
- Be knowledgeable of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures related to the department.
- Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
- Report illegal activity to Security or management.
