Job summary

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven cross-functional program management experience.
  • Ability to work independently with external suppliers and regulators.
  • Experience with waste, recycling, or hazardous materials regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end projects supporting GM’s EV battery recycling strategies.
  • Plan multi-phase projects across functions, managing scope, schedule and budget.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, recyclers, and logistics providers.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and draft requirements for RFQs.
  • Support business cases by analyzing data and market conditions.
  • Partner with Communications to craft internal/external materials.
  • Develop sustainability plans for pack/module/cell and recyclability.
  • Represent GM at external forums and conferences.
