Graphenix Development Inc. (GDI) in Rochester, NY is seeking a hands-on Laboratory Technician to assemble Li-ion coin and pouch cells, document build data, and operate electrochemical analyzers under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager.

The role requires High School education, safe handling of battery materials, and meticulous record-keeping. It is a full-time position offering $20–$29 per hour plus medical, dental, vision, a 401k matching plan, and stock options.

Qualifications

• High School education.
• Handling of battery materials and general laboratory safety practices
• Thorough and clear documentation of experimental work

Responsibilities

• Report to the Laboratory Manager.
• Assemble Li-ion cell types to include coin cells and pouch cells.
• Document cell build data.
• Operate equipment for laboratory testing including electrochemical analyzers.
• Develop and implement system support processes and documentation
