Job summary
A leading energy solutions company is seeking an Equipment Engineer for its Lansing, MI facility. This role requires monitoring and maintaining battery production equipment with a focus on optimizing operations. Ideal candidates should hold a degree in engineering and have 1-3 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing. Qualifications
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, preferably in battery, semiconductor, or automotive.
- Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with equipment maintenance and knowledge of IOT and MES is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain automated equipment such as coaters, slitters, presses, dryers, and mixing systems.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for equipment downtime and yield issues.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
