Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Battery Engineer to own battery assemblies for Falcon & Dragon across development, production, and flight. You will work on design, reliability, and manufacturability, collaborating with multiple teams to optimize packs and validate performance.

Responsibilities include defining manufacturing requirements, improving schematics, and driving reliability through testing and analysis. A strong engineering background and hands-on problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 1+ years of hardware design experience.
• 1+ years of experience with electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ownership of battery assemblies for flight across the product life cycle.
• Support battery pack designs from requirements to in-flight operation.
