Qualifications

You'll have…

  • Master’s degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in batteries and battery systems used in vehicle electrification
  • 5+ years of experience in Control Systems, especially state estimation theory
  • 5+ years developing and implementing simulations of battery performance and degradation
  • 5+ years using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, C++ for battery simulation and control system design
  • 2+ years of industry experience with Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS)

Even better, you may have…

  • PhD in Engineering
  • 5+ years in battery or powertrain system design, usage, controls, and testing for electrified vehicles
  • Deep understanding of battery aging, failure modes, and durability
  • Experience with HV battery controls embedded software development
  • Fluency in Python, C++, or similar languages
  • Experience with post-processing battery data using AVL Concerto, ATI Vision, INCA, Canalyzer, or similar tools
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms for battery diagnostics and prognostics
  • Experience with lab-scale battery fabrication and electrochemical characterization
  • Excellent data analysis, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Self-motivation and multitasking abilities
