Job summary

Microvast in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Production Associate to join the production team. You will work on an assembly line, cross-trained on all stations and battery assembly machinery, including mechanical connections, electrical harnesses, PCBA installation, and tests on battery packs.

Emphasis on safety, quality, and hands-on use of tools and lifting equipment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and experience in electronics, automotive electrical, or battery assembly.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Electronics, automotive electrical, or battery assembly experience preferred.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Prior forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Battery handling and testing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mindset of safety for yourself and coworkers.
• Strive for the highest quality and suggest process improvements.
• Operate battery pack assembly equipment and machinery.
• Check inventory counts to ensure correct materials on hand.
• Use tools and machinery to assemble products.
• Use overhead hoists, pallet jacks, and carts to move and stage materials.
• Use a forklift to load packs safely and efficiently.
• Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity.
• Operate tests and quality checks on battery packs.
• Report on your output for the day.
