Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is looking for a Service Technician in Orlando, Florida. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial batteries and chargers, as well as performing planned maintenance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and less than 2 years of experience. An excellent wage and benefits package is available for full-time employees, including health and dental plans, 401K, and paid time off.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree, previous battery and charger repair experience, welding skills, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics, good written/verbal communication skills, and good customer care skills
