Job summary

Crown is seeking a field service technician to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers at customer sites. You will perform maintenance, manage your service van and inventory, and handle paperwork after each job.

The role emphasizes strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, and delivering excellent customer care while working in a mobile service capacity.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with battery/charger repair, welding, and testing equipment preferred.
• Strong reading of electrical schematics and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer industrial batteries and chargers.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics, good written/verbal communication skills, and good customer care skills
