Job summary

P.J. Fitzpatrick is seeking Bathroom Remodeling Apprentices to gain hands-on experience installing acrylic baths and related fixtures. You will learn under skilled installers, protecting homes and delivering quality finishes.

Starting pay is $22–$24 per hour with performance-based bonuses. The schedule is Monday to Friday with potential overtime. Benefits and career advancement opportunities are available as part of the program.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; rigorous on‑the‑job training available.

• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced installers with residential bathroom remodels, focusing on acrylic baths.
• Learn to safely remove tubs, showers, and surrounding materials.
• Prepare work areas, protect homes, and maintain a clean job site.
• Measure, cut, and install acrylic wall systems, tubs, bases, trim, and accessories under supervision.
• Load, unload, and transport tools and materials to job sites.
• Operate hand and power tools safely per safety standards.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide good customer service.
• Follow installation procedures to ensure quality workmanship.

P.J. Fitzpatrick is excited to welcome enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Bathroom Remodeling Apprentices! In this role, you will gain invaluable hands‑on experience in bathroom renovations, specializing in installing high‑quality acrylic baths. You will work under the guidance of skilled professionals, learning the trade and contributing to beautiful home transformations. If you are passionate about home improvement and eager to learn, we want to hear from you!

Pay: Starting hourly rate between $22-$24 an hour, with bonus opportunities based on performance.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a standard day shift and potential for overtime.

Job Duties

• Assist experienced installers with residential bathroom remodeling projects, specializing in acrylic bath and shower systems.
• Learn to safely remove existing tubs, showers, and surrounding materials.
• Prepare work areas by protecting customers' homes and ensuring a clean, organized job site.
• Measure, cut, and install acrylic wall systems, tubs, shower bases, trim, and accessories under supervision.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Operate hand and power tools safely while following company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and work area.
• Assist with basic plumbing adjustments, carpentry, and finishing work as directed by the lead installer.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide exceptional customer service throughout each project.
• Follow installation procedures and quality standards to ensure every bathroom is completed correctly and efficiently.
• Attend training sessions and actively develop the skills needed to become a skilled bathroom installer.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
