Job summary

P.J. Fitzpatrick is seeking a Bathroom Remodeling Apprentice to start a rewarding career in the home improvement industry. You will receive hands-on training in bathroom renovations, focusing on acrylic bath installations, with mentorship from experienced professionals.

Starting pay is $22 per hour, plus opportunities for performance bonuses. Schedule is Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. Training occurs in the New Castle, DE office, with transportation and per diem provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Familiarity with tools or construction is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Basic math skills for taking accurate measurements.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Availability for overtime and occasional weekend work where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced installers on residential bathroom remodeling projects, focusing on acrylic bath and shower systems.
• Learn to safely remove existing tubs, showers, and surrounding materials.
• Prepare work areas by protecting customers' homes and ensuring a clean, organized job site.
• Measure, cut, and install acrylic wall systems, tubs, shower bases, trim, and accessories under supervision.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Operate hand and power tools safely while following company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and work area.
• Assist with basic plumbing adjustments, carpentry, and finishing work as directed by the lead installer.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide exceptional customer service throughout each project.
• Follow installation procedures and quality standards to ensure every bathroom is completed correctly and efficiently.
• Attend training sessions and actively develop the skills needed to become a skilled bathroom installer.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Training: All training will be conducted in the New Castle, DE office. We will cover for transportation and hotel fee's as well as provide per diem for food!
