Job summary

P.J. Fitzpatrick in Charleston, SC is seeking a helper to assist the Installer with remodeling baths or showers in customers’ homes, following guidelines and safety protocols.

You will review job scope, provide direct customer service, maintain the job site, and learn installation certification under coaching from the main Installer, with opportunities to stage jobs and prepare for the next day.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to learn production methods and company policies.
• High school equivalent education; verbal, written, mathematical capabilities equivalent to a high school graduate.
• Dependable, detail oriented, good customer relations.
• Solid carpentry skills and basic hand tool knowledge.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform essential job requirements.
• Ability to work extended hours and occasional overtime.
• Motivational, team player, safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Assist Installer in remodeling baths or showers in customers’ homes. Follow Installer’s guidelines, quality and safety protocols.
• Review scope and installation checklist to ensure guidelines and processes are followed.
• Provide direct customer service to homeowners, offering solutions for satisfaction.
• Maintain and clean job site; ensure equipment is properly stored in vehicle.
• Work on Install certification while being coached by the main Installer.
• Eventually learn to stage job and load van for next day to avoid interruptions.
