Splish, splash! FIDO needs a bath. Are you up for wet wagging tails and flying suds? Interested in becoming a Groomer? Join our team and attend our free Paragon School of Pet Grooming!

Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) at Pet Supplies Plus, you’re passionate about pets and their owners. Your role includes:

1. Encouraging pets to participate in grooming activities and celebrating their progress.
2. Participating in our free, paid training through the renowned Paragon School of Pet Grooming, if aspiring to become a Groomer.
3. Getting familiar with grooming tools and equipment.
4. Learning to bathe and style dogs according to breed standards.
5. Receiving a free toolkit worth over $600 upon hire when enrolling in the Paragon school.

All while engaging with customers and smiling through puppy breath. Are you a superhero with a flea comb? You are PAWsome!

Key Responsibilities

• Providing grooming services such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming.
• Learning and demonstrating grooming skills via our online program.
• Ensuring the safety and wellness of pets during grooming.
• Building relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending products.
• Maintaining a clean and inviting grooming environment.
• Completing safety training certification.
• Assisting team members during grooming downtimes.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with pets in retail or other settings is a plus but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to review online videos and take tests.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass drug screening and a selection test; candidates must be at least 18 years old.
