Job summary

Destination Pet is seeking a friendly Bather at Ruff Housing Witt Street in Winston Salem, NC. This full-time role starts at $15.00/hour DOE + tips with DailyPay access. Shifts run 7:30am–4:30pm, with evenings, weekends and holidays required.

We offer health benefits, 401(k), and discounted pet insurance. As a Bather, you’ll bathe dogs of all sizes, dry and prep for grooming, and assist groomers while keeping the salon clean and guest-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience working with animals is a plus but not required—we’ll train the right human.
• Time management, patience, and a positive attitude are a must.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand on feet for duration of shift.

Responsibilities

• Bathing dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities—with kindness and care.
• Blow drying, brushing, and prepping pups for their grooming appointments.
• Trimming nails and brushing teeth (after training).
• Assisting groomers with holding, fetching, and fluffing.
• Taking dogs outside for potty breaks.
• Keeping the salon clean, sanitized, and guest ready.
• Keeping towels washed and stacked for post-bath needs.
• Notifying the front desk when pups are ready to go home.
• Helping with check-ins or phone calls as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
