Job summary

Surface Experts - Grand Rapids is seeking a hands-on Technician to lead bathroom resurfacing projects, including tubs and shower surrounds, using a roll-paint method. You will work on-site with various clients, learning and applying our five-step repair process.

Ideal candidates have practical experience with refinishing, color matching, and painting. The role offers a company vehicle, tools provided, paid training, and a strong team-oriented environment focused on growth and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience working with hands in repair/home improvement, or similar roles.
• Ability to use PPE gear for respiratory protection.
• Willingness to learn resurfacing/refinishing techniques.

Responsibilities

• On-site for 1–2 customers per day, spot repairs or refinishing.
• On-site work 2–4 hours per order, operate independently once trained.
• Serve a variety of customers (Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders).
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Track progress and notes in CRM/Dispatch system.
• Coordinate with support team for questions.
