Job summary

Azria Health Park Place is hiring a daytime Certified Nursing Assistant/Bath Aide for a 6 am–2 pm shift, with every other weekend. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time staff, and $500 for part-time.

You will join a compassionate team dedicated to high-quality resident care in Des Moines, IA. Responsibilities include direct resident care, assessments, and assisting with bathing and related duties.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification and be current in Nebraska.
• High level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care according to the individualized resident treatment plan.
• Participate in resident care assessments and restorative nursing programs.
• Maintain current certification by attending and participating in training and educational classes.
• Train to perform the Customer Care Liaison duties.
• Deliver the highest quality of care with kindness and compassion.
• Assist residents with scheduled bathing and showering in bath facilities; prep and return to rooms.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide direct care according to the individualized resident treatment plan
• Participate in resident care assessments and restorative nursing programs
• Maintain current certification by attending & participating in training and educational classes
• Train to perform the Customer Care Liaison duties
• Deliver the highest quality of care possible to each resident, serving with kindness and compassion
• This position works in the Bath House assisting residents and patients with scheduled bathing and/or showering. It is the Bath Aide's role to prep and retrieve the patients from their room and return them to their room when finished.
• This person needs to be highly detail oriented, task driven and organized. Staying on schedule is a must.
• Other duties include skin checks and weights, as well as being pulled to the floor as a CNA when needed.
