Job summary

Hayward Laboratories, Inc. is seeking individuals to learn and participate in making hundreds of Palmers products at our East Stroudsburg Manufacturing facility. Starting wage is $20.50/hour and up, with growth opportunities in a hands-on batch environment.

Essential duties include following batch schedules, verifying weights and codes, and adhering to HMIS guidelines during all batching activities. Candidates should be capable of moving around the plant and using multiple pieces of equipment as

Qualifications

• Able to do calculations of raw material/product and prepare based on batch formulas.
• Able to move about the plant and utilize all equipment to make, transport and provide raw materials and product for filling.
• Valid Driver's License or approved driver history report.
• 1 year of forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily batching schedule using batch cards from the batching office.
• Ensure weight and material codes on containers match batch requirements.
• Adhere to all batching procedures and HMIS guidelines during compounding with no exceptions.
• Review batching schedule during downtime and assist with other department needs.
• Monitor batch progress with pre-weigher and stage pre-weighted batches near batching tanks.
• Notify batching manager when the batch is approved for pumping.

Hayward Laboratories, Inc. is in search of individuals that either have the experience or the drive and desire to want to learn how to make the hundreds of Palmers products that we Batch and fill right here at our East Stroudsburg Manufacturing facility!

Starting wage at 20.50/hour and up

Some of the Essential Job Functions:

• Will follow daily schedule for batch assignments, using batch cards from the appropriate file in the batching office.
• Employee is to make sure to completely check weight and material codes on containers before batching. The integrity of the batch is ultimately the compounder's responsibility.
• The compounder is to make sure to follow all batching procedures and HMIS guidelines when compounding all batches. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this procedure.
• During the cooling and mixing phases and/or other free time the compounder is responsible for reviewing the batching schedule for the following day and assisting with other needs within the department.
• The compounder will check the progress of all batches with the pre weigher. If batch is pre weighted, stage it properly near the appropriate batching tanks
• The compounder will notify the batching manager when the batch is approved for pumping.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications needed:

Able to do calculations of raw material/product and prepare based on batch formulas

Able to move about the plant and utilize all equipment to make, transport and provide raw materials and product for filling

Valid Driver's License or approved driver history report

1 year of forklift experience preferred but not required
