Job summary

Applied Laboratories, Inc. in Columbus, Indiana is seeking a detail-oriented Batching Technician to join the Batching team. You will transform raw materials into finished bulk products while ensuring GMP and quality documentation compliance.

The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience in regulated environments, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow batch records. This hands-on role requires teamwork and the ability to operate production equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow detailed production instructions and batch records.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Experience with production documentation and batch tracking.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing batch records accurately and follow all processing instructions.
• Verify raw materials, item numbers, lot numbers, release status, and expiration dates prior to use.
• Pull and stage raw materials from designated storage and warehouse locations.
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients using floor scales and other equipment.
• Add raw materials according to approved formulas and batch specifications.
• Complete all required production documentation including weigh-outs and batch traceability.
• Set up and operate pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
• Transfer approved bulk product to holding vessels after QC release.
• Clean and sanitize equipment per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain GMP, safety, sanitation, PPE and documentation compliance.
• Support continuous improvement and other assigned responsibilities.
