Job summary

United Petfood Producers USA Inc. is seeking a Batch­ing Technician in Mishawaka, IN. The role requires set‑up, staging, and monitoring of processing equipment for scheduled production, with twelve‑hour shifts on a biweekly rotation and weekend work as needed.

The successful candidate will operate processing equipment, monitor feed levels, and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained. Prior experience in a production environment and strong English communication are important.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to work in environments with odor, noise, heat, cold, dust, and chemicals.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and basic tool handling.
• Familiar with computer applications and production paperwork.
• High school level math and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor equipment per SOPs and GMPs.
• Stage ingredients and prepare for changeovers per production schedule.
• Troubleshoot basic production system applications as needed.
• Monitor extruder feed levels and batch according to schedule.
• Maintain batching room cleanliness and sanitation throughout shift.
• Operate forklift to stage ingredients per production schedule.
