  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles batches according to formulation sheets and production specifications.
  • Weighs and verifies raw materials before blending.
  • Loads materials into blenders and ensures correct batch sequence.
  • Cleans blenders and batching equipment between batches.
  • Moves raw materials and finished products around the facility.
  • Safely operates forklifts and fork trucks.
  • Maintains material levels to support production.
  • Completes batch records and production documentation accurately.
  • Follows quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Reports material discrepancies, quality concerns, or equipment issues promptly.
  • Maintains a clean, organized batching area.
  • Wears required PPE and follows plant safety procedures.
  • Works safely around equipment, moving machinery, and material handling gear.

Aurora Material Solutions, a leader in polymer manufacturing, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Batch Technician to join our growing production team. This position plays a critical role in preparing and blending raw materials that keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently.

What You’ll Do
Batch Preparation & Blending
  • Assemble batches according to formulation sheets and production specifications.
  • Accurately weigh and verify raw materials before blending.
  • Load materials into blenders and ensure batches are prepared in the correct sequence.
  • Clean blenders and batching equipment between batches as required.
Material Handling
  • Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Safely operate forklifts and fork trucks.
  • Maintain adequate material levels to support continuous production.
Documentation & Quality
  • Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.
  • Follow established quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Report material discrepancies, quality concerns, or equipment issues promptly.
Safety & Housekeeping
  • Maintain a clean and organized batching area.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Work safely around manufacturing equipment, moving machinery, and material handling equipment.
Qualifications

  • Forklift experience preferred.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires working around:

  • Varying temperatures
