Job Title: Batch Plant Operator

Location: St. Louis, MO

We are seeking a Batch Plant Operator for our customer, County Materials. Military service members and veterans are encouraged to apply.

Job Duties:
  1. Ensure the machine is kept clean and well maintained at all times.
  2. Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot the machine as needed.
  3. Work closely with the Plant Supervisor to ensure all concrete batches are produced in alignment with the production schedule.
Work Environment:
  • Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
  • Work near moving machinery and equipment, which could include electrical hazards.
  • Work in confined spaces.
  • Work in a noisy environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulder.
  • Carrying and lifting 10-40 pounds.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Ability and willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Safety-minded when performing tasks.
  • Operating forklift or other mobile equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the construction and/or building materials industry is preferred but not required.
  • Occasional heavy lifting may be required.
  • Mechanically inclined with a general understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail.
