The Batch Plant Operator produces quality concrete with proper mix characteristics timely and ensures adequate raw materials are on hand for manufacturing.

Job Duties

• Ensure machines are kept clean and well maintained
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Work closely with the Plant Supervisor to align concrete batches with the production schedule

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures
• Work near moving machinery, electrical hazards, confined spaces, and noisy environments

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, crouching, kneeling, bending
• Lifting/carrying 10-40 pounds
• Pushing, pulling, reaching above shoulder

Experience & Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Safety-minded
• Forklift or mobile equipment operation preferred
• Experience in construction or building materials industry preferred
• Mechanically inclined with good math skills and attention to detail
