Job summary

NAPCO Precast in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Concrete Truck Driver to operate our batch plant equipment and manage daily material inventories. The role includes driving a concrete truck, batching concrete with ACECO Scorpion, and ensuring bins and silos stay full.

Must have ability to work 8–12 hour shifts in a dusty environment, with occasional Saturdays. Physical tasks include lifting up to 40 pounds and manual labor in a fast-paced precast facility.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver license preferred.
• Experience driving concrete trucks is a plus.
• Familiarity with batch plant operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Concrete Truck as part of daily operations.
• Batch concrete in the plant using ACECO Scorpion Computer.
• Maintain inventory of materials and keep bins and silos full.
• Troubleshoot mixers and conveyors to minimize downtime.
• Keep the batch plant area clean and safe.

Drive a Concrete Truck with manual transmission within our facility and work in the Batch Plant (Concrete) Operation

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive a Concrete Truck
• Batch concrete using ACECO Scorpion Computer
• Knowledge on mix design
• Inventory Materials
• Keep bins & Cement Silos full
• Trouble Shoot Mixers & Conveyors
• Keep Batch Plant area clean
• Climb top of silos for inventory and maintenance
• Batching experience a plus

QualificationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• May be required stoop, kneel, bend, push and pull.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Be on feet for 8-12 hours per day & work occasionally mandatory Saturday.
• Work in a Dusty Environment
