Job summary

Zep Inc. in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a diligent Manufacturing Operator to join our batch production team. You will clean, operate and maintain equipment, manufacture batches, and ensure accurate inventory flow.

The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic math, reading and interpreting work orders, and experience in batch manufacturing. You will follow safety rules and contribute to a clean, efficient plant environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a batch manufacturing environment.
• Basic Math Skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with batch setup and changeover processes.

Responsibilities

• Clean, operate and maintain equipment in area including totes, pumps, mixing vessel equipment, and raw material lines as needed.
• Read, interpret and execute specifications from work order.
• Manufacture batches based on work orders.
• Provide detailed paperwork to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Plan and perform batch set up and changeover processes.
• Pour and weigh raw material as needed.
• Handle Hazardous Waste and Control Waste.
• Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards.
• Perform other related duties as required.
