Crafco, Inc. has an opening for a Mix Operator at our supply center in Memphis, TN.

Do you have batching experience in the manufacturing industry? Crafco Supply Centers manufacture and sell pavement preservation materials and equipment. The Sealer Mix/Batch Operator is responsible for batching, measuring, and mixing materials, as well as operating manufacturing equipment to produce Crafco products according to guidelines from production control and materials engineering.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate with benefits including Profit Sharing, Matching 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Holidays, Personal, Sick Leave, Maternity Leave, and more.

Specific Duties Include

1. Mix components per batch following all instructions from sealant engineering.
2. Verify weights and measurements for accuracy.
3. Operate equipment efficiently to ensure proper batching times.
4. Complete production batch forms accurately.
5. Maintain a clean, orderly work area and report equipment issues.
6. Train others in sealer manufacturing as needed.
7. Perform duties safely and professionally, cooperating with other departments.
8. Ensure paperwork is accurate, complete, and timely.
9. Operate forklifts once trained and certified.
10. Work overtime and various shifts as needed.

Qualifications Include, But Not Limited To

1. Experience: 3 months to 1 year in batch materials production or manufacturing.
2. Education: High school diploma or GED.
3. Skills: Safety awareness, ability to read and execute instructions, basic math skills.
4. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, lift heavy items (50+ lbs), work in various conditions.
5. Other: Willing to work overtime, occasional travel.
