Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Full Intentions Athletics in Austin, TX is seeking a Basketball Program Coordinator & Coach to lead on-court instruction and behind-the-scenes program development.
You will coach youth skills, plan camps, community runs, and help build partnerships while focusing on clear communication, inclusive culture, and growth.
The role starts part-time with room to grow as the program expands, offering hands-on opportunity to shape the organization’s direction.
Full Intentions Athletics is growing, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help us build.
We believe sport can be a place to move, compete, connect, learn, and become more intentional about how you show up. Our approach is rooted in three things: right effort, intention, and understanding.
We’re building basketball experiences for youth and adults that take the game seriously without losing the joy, connection, and community that make people want to keep playing.
We’re looking for a Basketball Program Coordinator & Coach who can contribute both on the court and behind the scenes.
This isn’t a role where everything has already been figured out for you. We want someone who can bring ideas, take initiative, and help shape what Full Intentions basketball becomes.
You may coach a youth skills session one day and help us think through a camp, community run, partnership, or new program the next.
Basketball knowledge matters. How you work with people matters just as much.
Competitive or collegiate playing experience is a plus, but it isn't the deciding factor.
Being able to hoop doesn't automatically mean you can coach.
We're much more interested in whether you can teach, communicate, connect, organize, and help people get better.
Full Intentions Athletics is still growing, and that's part of what makes this role different.
This position will begin with a limited part-time schedule focused on basketball program development, coordination, and coaching as programming becomes available. As our programs and community grow, there is room for the position to grow with them.
The person who joins us now has the opportunity to help shape the culture instead of simply inheriting it.
