Job summary

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is seeking a Basketball Affairs and Player Personnel Lead to manage relationships with league teams and Referee Operations, serving as primary contact for Player Representatives. This role oversees player discipline, contract distribution, and supports the NBA G League operations.

Key duties include contract administration during signings, drafting documents with Legal, ensuring roster rule compliance, FIBA clearances, and leading events like the G

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctor a plus.
• Minimum 5 years NBA, WNBA, G League, or NCAA experience at team/league level.
• Minimum 5 years in professional coaching, scouting, or basketball operations.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 20%).
• Experience with roster regulations and league rules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the player contract administrator during signing process.
• Draft player contracts, forms, and manuals with Legal and operations teams.
• Ensure NBA G League roster rule compliance across NBAGL teams.
• Manage FIBA clearance processes for G League players.
• Lead PCMS transactions as department lead.
• Liaise with NBA G League Referee Operations and coordinate Coaches Textback.
• Oversee player discipline and fines processes and data management.
• Manage end-of-season awards selection.
• Organize NBA G League events including Combine and International Draft.
• Support G League coaching and front office staff at domestic/international events.
• Attend elite youth events as scout/presenter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
