Job summary

Napa Valley Unified School District (NVUSD) is seeking a Basketball Head Coach for Unidos Middle School. Responsibilities include conducting daily practices, managing equipment, and traveling with the team to away games while fostering positive relationships with parents and players.

The ideal candidate has coaching experience with student-athletes and will obtain required NFHS certifications and First Aid/CPR prior to deployment; season runs 5 weeks starting in September.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching basketball and working with student-athletes.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR, NFHS coaching certifications.
• Season begins in September and runs for 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily practices for the five-week season.
• Travel with the team to away games and manage equipment.
• Develop positive relationships with parents and players.
• Plan and recognize end-of-season awards.
