Job summary

Tulane University in New Orleans is seeking a student assistant to support the Tulane Women’s Basketball Day Camp. You will help with daily setup and breakdown of practices, prep courts and equipment, and assist coaches during drills.

This role focuses on organization, teamwork, and professional conduct while representing the program. Availability for practices, home games, and events is required, with some evenings and weekends as the team schedule demands.

Qualifications

• Current Tulane University student.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and willing to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for assigned practices, home games, and other team activities; willing to work occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily setup and breakdown of practices, workouts, and team activities.
• Prepare the court and necessary equipment before practices and workouts.
• Assist with basketballs, cones, towels, water, practice gear, and other equipment.
• Assist coaches and staff with drills during practice as needed.
• Help maintain organization and cleanliness of the court, equipment areas, and team spaces.
• Assist with game-day setup, operations, and postgame breakdown.
• Support home games, practices, and other program events.
• Assist with laundry and organization of practice and game gear as needed.
• Help with filming or other practice/game responsibilities when assigned.
• Maintain a professional attitude and represent Tulane Women’s Basketball appropriately.
• Communicate schedule conflicts and availability with staff in a timely manner.
