Job summary

Electrolux Professional Group in Mississippi is seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, set up equipment, MIG/TIG weld, and maintain the work area.

The role requires basic math, good hand-eye coordination, reliable attendance, and adherence to safety rules in a general plant environment. We provide on-the-job training focused on quality and safety, with opportunities to advance in a progressive manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Must have prior MIG/TIG work experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate good welding ability with minimal training.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must have good hand/eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Work from verbal instructions / blue prints / drawings and/or work orders.
• Setup equipment / prepare surfaces to be welded /weld parts.
• Must be able to use hand tools such as grinders, etc.
• Maintain inventory of parts used in area.
• Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• May perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
• Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
• Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
