Job Description

A manufacturing company is offering immediate, full-time positions for Basic Machine Operators who will safely produce quality products per the Process Control Plan and Work Order, utilizing machinery, tooling, and measuring equipment supporting Company Objectives for Safety. There are openings on both first and third shifts.

Job Duties:

1. Produce parts per Process Control Plans and work order instructions
2. Ensure a thorough understanding of operating assigned machines, tools, and equipment, including safety checks and start-up procedures
3. Communicate quality concerns encountered
4. Fill out work orders and other paperwork completely
5. Inspect work as you go, recording measurements as required
6. Follow steps to make good parts and keep scrap levels low
7. Understand work cell goals and how your effort contributes to meeting them
8. Focus on safety and quality while striving to meet work cell goals
9. Keep work area clean and free of foreign objects and debris
10. Pay attention and be conscientious about assignments; promptly review safety concerns with the supervisor
11. Observe all safety policies and procedures and use assigned Personal Protective Equipment
12. Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:
