Lead Refrigeration Technician

The Lead Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems and ensures the proper functioning of refrigeration equipment to preserve perishable goods and maintain optimal store operations.

• Work is not closely supervised and is governed by standardized work routines that permit the use of initiative, and typically has an impact through the provision of activities that require technical understanding or through the provision of administrative support of a facilitative or interpretive nature.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs cooling towers, refrigeration systems and refrigerated sales cases.
• Assists in the installation and setup of new refrigeration equipment and systems.

Experience

Physical Demands

Work Environment

Work is performed in a retail store environment. Frequent travel is required. Ability to work extended and irregular hours, as required, in support of the Company’s business needs, to include rotating on-call shifts.

Must be at least 18-years old.
