Job summary

Camden County College is seeking a Temporary Part-time Assistant Coach for Baseball at the Blackwood Campus within the Athletic Department. You will perform on-field coaching, teach student-athletes, recruit student-athletes, and help maintain team operations and statistics.

The role requires dedication to student success, ability to travel with the team, maintain statistics, support budgeting, and engage with a diverse campus community.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, planning, leadership, attention to detail.
• Ability to recruit, instruct and motivate college student athletes.
• Ability to work with a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-field coaching, teaching and instruction.
• Recruit student-athletes.
• Maintain team and individual statistics, report scores to necessary outlets.
• Adhere to sport budget, including travel, supply and equipment lines.
• Travel with team to and from all contests.
• Monitor academic progress of student-athletes.
• Fundraise monies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Coach and Director of Athletics.
• Ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic and socio economic backgrounds.
