Job summary

US Coast Guard Academy Athletic Activity Fund in New London, CT seeks a Sports Specialist (Asst. Baseball Coach) for a temporary PT role (30-40 hrs/wk). The position supports the Head Baseball coach with coaching, administration, and adherence to NCAA rules.

Duties include practice instruction, in-game coaching, video analysis, and athletic recruiting. Responsibilities extend to developing in-season and off-season training programs, tracking performance metrics, and assisting with social media

Qualifications

• Collegiate baseball experience required.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Baseball coach with coaching and administration of a Division III Baseball program.
• Practice instruction and in-game coaching including player and skill development.
• Assist with analytics tracking and video assessment, recruiting student athletes, and developing training programs.
• Assist with social media postings.
