Job summary

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT is seeking a Sports Specialist (Asst Baseball Coach) on a temporary full-time basis (NTE 2 years). The role supports the Head Baseball Coach in coaching, administration, and ensuring compliance with NCAA rules.

Expected duties include practice instruction, in-game coaching, recruitment, and social media support. Eligible candidates with collegiate baseball experience and knowledge of NCAA rules encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum: collegiate baseball experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Baseball Coach with coaching and administration of a Division III program.
• Provide practice instruction and in-game coaching including player development.
• Assist with recruiting athletically talented and academically qualified student-athletes and develop training programs.
• Assist with social media postings and other duties as assigned.
