We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio.

We are seeking an Equipment Operator for the Base Stone and Grading crew in Gallatin, TN. This role focuses on utilizing grading equipment for laying and finishing base stone for paving on base stone and grading projects.

The successful candidate will be an experienced operator with a strong focus on safety.

Job Details
  • Full-Time
  • Day Shift (some weekend work required)
  • Location: Gallatin, TN
  • Wages starting at $23.00/hr
Responsibilities
  • Operate various site construction equipment such as dozers, skid-steers, bobcats, rollers, etc., with 1-3 years of experience.
  • Train to operate a dozer and other heavy or grading equipment for rough and fine grading.
  • Operate equipment proficiently in challenging terrain.
  • Perform equipment servicing and maintenance as directed.
  • Conduct daily inspections and document findings per company policies.
  • Communicate effectively within the team.
  • Follow all safety policies and regulations, including OSHA/MSHA standards.
Qualifications
  • Experience operating heavy construction equipment, including small dozers, skid-steers, bobcats, rollers, and mini-excavators.
  • Experience with a motor grader is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Willing to work overtime and extended hours.
  • Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions and tolerating loud noises.
  • Team player willing to assist co-workers and supervisors.
  • Must provide valid documentation for I-9 compliance.
