Job summary

United Security Inc. in Des Moines, IA, is hiring a Full-Time Base Operator Security Officer in Altoona. You will provide customer service to tenants, enforce site policies, and patrol parking areas to maintain a safe environment.

Two schedules are available: Saturday-Tuesday 3pm-11pm, or Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm. Training on USI procedures and opportunities for career development are offered, along with benefits for full-time employees.

Schedule 1:

Saturday-Tuesday: 3pm-11pm

Schedule 2:

Monday-Friday- 3pm-11pm

Responsibilities include:

• Provide customer service and information to tenant employees and guests.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
• Provide for the security of the client's property.
• Enforce the safety and security policies and rules of the client.
• Vehicle patrol to provide safeguarding for the parking lots and exterior of the premises.

You will be trained on USI's policies and procedures, including how to respond to various incidents and emergencies.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years old
• 1 year customer service experience
• 1 year security experience
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Valid Iowa Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Must successfully pass a State of Iowa background check to obtain a State of Iowa Security Officer License
• Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings
