Job summary

Ambipar is seeking a Base Operations Manager to oversee dispatch, safety compliance, budgeting, and employee development, with an emphasis on promoting services within the territory. The role centers on delivering high-quality emergency response and industrial services while upholding customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Reports to the Regional Operations Director; location is on-site and the position is full-time, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; at least 3 years of management experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Environmental and/or Industrial Services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of RCRA waste disposal regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives with a focus on zero accidents and continuous improvement.
• Develop, audit, and implement operational procedures compliant with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Coordinate with Sales and Regional Managers to align work plans with budgets and customer needs.
• Address customer complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Oversee waste management activities including tracking, profiling, and disposal.
• Ensure regulatory and documentation accuracy for billing and reporting.
