Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a HAA Pilot for a full-time role based at our Harrisburg, IL operations. You will lead base pilots, coordinate scheduling and flight planning, and ensure safe, compliant rotorcraft operations while supporting public relations events and base-level logistics.

Requires extensive helicopter experience, rotorcraft certifications, and night/duration flying qualifications. Includes on-duty housing and a substantial bonus potential, with total pay up to $230,000.

Qualifications

• Total flight time must exceed 2000 hours.
• 1500 hours helicopter time.
• 1000 hours helicopter PIC.
• 500 hours turbine.
• 100 hours night unaided, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate.
• Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument Rating.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and training to Base Line Pilots.
• Develops schedules with Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Coordinates flight planning with Program Director and base resources.
• Conducts local area orientations for new hire pilots.
• Coordinates aviation activities for public relations events.
• Reviews and submits monthly pilot logs to Regional Director of Flight Operations.
• Monitors pilots and assists in day-to-day flight and admin issues.
• Operates aircraft safely per Rotorcraft Flight Manual and weather forecasts.
• Performs preflight checks and documents discrepancies for maintenance.
