Job summary
Schneider Electric is seeking a hands-on BAS Tech II to support commissioning, service, and integration on commercial projects in the New York market. You will work on Building Automation and Energy Management Systems, troubleshoot issues, assist with commissioning, and help ensure systems run efficiently and meet design expectations.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HVAC controls or building automation, hands-on installation experience, and familiarity with BAS networks and protocols.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in HVAC controls or building automation.
- Experience with installation, wiring, and panel terminations.
- Ability to troubleshoot BAS controls and networks.
- Exposure to Niagara/Tridium and protocols BACnet or Modbus preferred.
- Comfort working independently in the field with team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support installation, startup, and service of BAS/EMS.
- Troubleshoot software and controls issues.
- Assist with commissioning and ensure systems meet design expectations.
- Collaborate with project teams and third-party commissioning agents.
- Drive successful project delivery across commercial builds.
