Job summary

ControlsJobs is seeking a BAS Systems Specialist / Project Manager for the Greater Memphis area to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of HVAC and lighting control systems. You will coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors on projects covering the Mid-South, applying hands-on experience with DDC and BAS platforms including Tridium and Siemens.

• Experience with Tridium Niagara AX/N4, Siemens Talon, Apogee, PPCL and ABT software.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, MSTP, BACnet, Modbus, and LON protocols.
• Hands-on background with HVAC and lighting control systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, Word/Excel and multiple operating systems.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation timelines, commissioning activities, and project milestones with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Track project costs and forecast labor and material needs to maintain budget targets.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Identify field modifications and assist with pricing change orders and additional work requests.
• Program control logic, download software to controllers, develop graphics, and maintain BAS databases.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair DDC system issues to ensure peak system performance.
• Perform adjustments, calibrations, and testing of BAS hardware and software.
• Provide end-user training and ensure all project documentation and closeout materials are completed on time.
• Support both project and service teams with technical solutions and programming expertise.
• Maintain strict safety standards and uphold professional conduct on job sites and within customer facilities.

A reputable and established building automation contractor is seeking a skilled BAS Systems Specialist / Project Manager to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of HVAC and lighting control systems. This position is based in the Greater Memphis metro area and covers projects throughout the Mid-South. Candidates should bring hands-on experience with DDC systems and BAS platforms including Tridium and Siemens.
