Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking a Building Automation / BAS Project Manager in New York, NY. You will lead sophisticated commercial controls projects, guide field teams, and drive from coordination through commissioning and turnover.

The ideal candidate has hands-on BAS expertise, with experience in Distech Controls and Niagara AX/N4, BACnet networks, and strong ability to interpret drawings and coordinate with stakeholders across mechanical, electrical, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on commercial HVAC controls and BAS/BMS experience
• Direct experience with Distech Controls and Tridium Niagara AX and/or N4
• Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and sequences

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial BAS projects, coordinating schedules and resources
• Direct controls technicians and subcontractors and ensure safe field execution
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, engineering, and commissioning stakeholders
• Evaluate drawings and specifications to support field execution
• Guide troubleshooting of controls hardware, networking, programming, and startup
• Oversee startup, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout
