Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of BAS project experience, a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and hands-on BACnet MSTP skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a BAS Project Engineer or Project Manager is required.
• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Preferred.
• Hands-on proficiency with BACnet MSTP networks – Required.
• AX or N4 certification – Highly beneficial.
• Strong Visio capability – a major advantage.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop control schematics, sequences of operation, valve schedules, and equipment data sheets.
• Engineer system network architecture diagrams for BAS installations.
• Program BAS controllers, create graphics packages, and build system databases.
• Prepare RFIs to clarify design and construction documents.
• Select control components and integrate third-party devices.
• Collaborate with drafting staff on submittal packages.
• Write BACnet code for custom automation sequences.
• Support startup, commissioning, and system checkout.

• Oversee development of O&M manuals and provide onsite project support
• Maintain project timelines and ensure critical milestones are achieved
