Job summary

SWECS is hiring a BAS Installer to join our EMCS Division. The role focuses on installing Building Automation Systems and EMCS in commercial and industrial facilities, requiring hands-on electrical experience and strict safety adherence.

You will work independently and with a team, following project drawings and SWECS standards. The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years in BAS installation or the electrical trade, OSHA 10, and the ability to read MEP plans and EMCS submittals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in BAS installation or the electrical trade.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification required.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP plans and EMCS submittals/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, raceways, control wiring, and EMCS devices.

Pay Range: $20 - $30 per hour

Position Overview

Southwest Electrical Contracting Services LLC (SWECS) is seeking a motivated and dependable BAS Installer to join our growing EMCS (Energy Management Control Systems) Division. This position is responsible for the installation of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) in commercial and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in electrical construction or building automation, demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications

Entry-Level Requirements

• Meet all SWECS employment eligibility requirements
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent attendance and dependability
• Maintain the required personal tool inventory
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in BAS installation or the electrical trade
• Working knowledge of EMCS systems, electrical installation materials, and wiring methods
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification required
• Ability to read and interpret:
• MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) plans and specifications
• EMCS system submittals and drawings

Technical Skills

• Install conduit raceways and control wiring according to project requirements
• Execute floor‑level EMCS system installations
• Execute mechanical room‑level EMCS system installations
• Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and installation standards

Key Responsibilities
