Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior BAS Specialist to lead installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems on datacenter construction projects across the Northern VA area.

You will apply deep BAS/HVAC controls expertise, work with major platforms, and coordinate with electricians, engineers, and project managers to ensure reliable, energy-efficient building performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Building Automation/HVAC Controls field experience.
• Knowledge of major BAS/Controls platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Reliable Controls, Automated Logic, Distech, Delta Controls).
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as BACnet, Lonworks, and Modbus.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Experience with datacenter construction projects or other mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems on datacenter construction projects in Northern VA.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of BAS across facilities.
• Provide on-site support and troubleshooting during construction and commissioning.

Job Details

As a Senior BAS Specialist on our datacenter construction team, you will lead the installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems across new datacenter construction projects throughout the Northern VA area.

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years of Building Automation/HVAC Controls field experience
• Knowledge of 1 or more major BAS/Controls platforms, including but not limited to: Johnson Controls, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Reliable Controls, Automated Logic, Distech, Delta Controls, or other
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as BACnet, Lonworks, Modbus
• Clean Driving Record
• Experience with datacenter construction projects or other mission critical facilities

NICE TO HAVE:

• Tridium Nigara N4 programming or N4 cert
