Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior BAS Controls Specialist for datacenter construction in Sterling, VA. You will lead installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems across new datacenter projects on-site in the Northern VA area.

The role requires 5+ years in BAS/HVAC controls, knowledge of major platforms, and strong networking protocol experience. A clean driving record and datacenter project exposure are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Building Automation/HVAC Controls field experience.
• Knowledge of major BAS/Controls platforms (Johnson Controls, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Reliable Controls, Automated Logic, Distech, Delta Controls, or similar).
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as BACnet, Lonworks, Modbus.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Experience with datacenter construction projects or other mission critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems on datacenter construction projects.
• Manage project delivery across the Northern VA area and ensure commissioning milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and operations teams to optimize performance.

Job Details

As a Senior BAS Specialist on our datacenter construction team, you will lead the installation, programming, commissioning, and servicing of Building Automation Systems across new datacenter construction projects throughout the Northern VA area.

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years of Building Automation/HVAC Controls field experience
• Knowledge of 1 or more major BAS/Controls platforms, including but not limited to: Johnson Controls, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Reliable Controls, Automated Logic, Distech, Delta Controls, or other
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as BACnet, Lonworks, Modbus
• Clean Driving Record
• Experience with datacenter construction projects or other mission critical facilities

NICE TO HAVE:

• Tridium Nigara N4 programming or N4 cert
