Job summary

LeoForce seeks a Systems Engineer for HVAC controls projects in San Jose. You will operate control software, interpret floor plans to identify equipment like VAVs, AHUs, chillers, and pumps, and assist with commissioning and documentation.

The role requires 4+ years in BAS/BMS or commercial HVAC controls, experience with major BAS platforms, and strong knowledge of HVAC systems. On-site work in San Jose, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Building Automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC Controls.
• Experience with BAS platforms: JCI, Delta, Andover, Schneider Electric, Trane, Automated Logic, Distech, or other.
• Knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems: chillers, boilers, AHUs, VAVs.
• Experience with JCI, Andover, or Delta Controls.
• BS in a related field.
• BAS/BMS programming.
• BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus.
• Tridium Niagara.

Responsibilities

• Operate control software and interpret floor plans to identify mechanical and electrical equipment such as VAVs, FCUs, AHUs, chillers, and pumps.
• Assist with project commissioning, complete documentation, and identify equipment deficiencies.
• Knowledge of simple electrical circuits, controller I/O, 24VAC power, and basic networking; coordinate with electricians to ensure work meets contractual scope.
