Job summary

Jobot is looking for a Systems Engineer in San Jose, CA to operate control software, develop basic databases, and read floor plans to identify mechanical and electrical equipment such as VAVs, AHUs, chillers, and pumps.

You will assist with project commissioning, complete documentation, and coordinate with electricians to ensure work meets contractual scope. The role offers strong compensation and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Building Automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC Controls space.
• Experience with one or more BAS platforms: JCI, Delta, Andover, Schneider Electric, Trane, Automated Logic, Distech, or other.
• Knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems, Chillers, Boilers, AHUs, VAVs, etc.
• Experience with JCI, Andover, or Delta Controls.

Responsibilities

Salary: $115,000 – $155,000 per year

We are a subsidiary of a prominent global leader in construction and facilities services, specializing in HVAC Controls.

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for operating control software, developing basic databases, and interpreting floor plans to identify mechanical and electrical equipment such as VAVs, FCUs, AHUs, chillers, and pumps. Responsibilities include assisting with project commissioning, completing documentation, and identifying equipment deficiencies. The position also requires knowledge of simple electrical circuits, controller I/O, 24VAC power, and basic networking, while coordinating with electricians to ensure work meets contractual scope.

Job Details

MUST HAVE:
