Job summary

Smart Building Technologies is seeking an early-career Controls Technician to support installation, troubleshooting, and service of building automation systems, with a focus on EMS/BAS performance.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in HVAC controls, electrical troubleshooting, BAS, or related technical field, plus knowledge of BAS components and programming. Tridium Certification or Distech experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC controls, electrical troubleshooting, BAS, or related technical field.
• Deep understanding of BAS control components and programming.
• Tridium Certification and Distech experience would be a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert service to EMS/BAS systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Install projects, including sensor/relay upgrades, programming tweaks, and controller replacements.
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits to safeguard systems.
